Dawn Kelly was born on May 20, 1969 in Queens, New York. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Fordham University in 1991. She graduated summa cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Touro Law School in New York in 2003, and was admitted to the Connecticut and New York bars in 2003 and 2004 respectively. In 2004, she was admitted to the Federal courts for the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York. In 2007, Ms. Kelly earned her Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Long Island University. She was admitted to the Florida bar in 2008.
Following law school, Ms. Kelly joined Cahill, Gordon & Reindel, LLP in Manhattan as a litigation associate. At Cahill, she worked on a variety of civil litigation and arbitration matters, including insurance, reinsurance, securities and contracts cases. In 2005, she accepted a clerkship with the Honorable James M. Hopkins, United States Magistrate Judge, in the District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ms. Kelly clerked for Judge Hopkins for three years before joining Page, Mrachek, Fitzgerald & Rose, P.A. as an associate in 2008.
Ms. Kelly concentrates her practice on complex commercial and civil litigation.
